When we decided to start selling Republic of Tea products, excuse me, when we decided to become a Republic of Tea Embassy, it was on the recommendation of one of our customers. She was a citizen of the Republic of Tea but had no local Embassy. She seemed rather insistent and desperate.

Little did we know why she was so anxious to find refuge. Now we do. She and other citizens of the Republic, both locally and from far away are able to resupply when they need to.

Here's what one new citizen had to say after discovering Republic of Tea teas:

"I have yet to find a tea that I simply do not like, though I am discovering my preference is for the black teas. I have never been a big coffee drinker, and until recently I was not much of a tea drinker. That, of course, has changed with the discovery of the Republic of Tea. I bought a Melitta One:One single cup coffee maker, and the round, unbleached tea bags fit perfectly into my maker. I prefer iced tea to hot tea, but I am venturing forth in my pursuit of teas.

To date, my favorites are Blackberry Sage and Mango Ceylon. I'm a big vanilla fan and look forward to trying the vanilla almond tea in future days."

As we meet more devotees of Republic of Tea we learn more about how and where they enjoy their tea. We've also discovered how appreciative many of them are about the Fair Trade teas and the concern Republic of Tea has for tea estate workers that help bring the teas to us.
